it seems to start as a tingling in the toes.  all ability to stand still is lost almost instantly.

if you can manage to keep the child in your sights, next a delighted squirming begins.  this may be a reaction to the internal tickle of a giggle as it rises past the belly button and the lungs.

then pleasure hits the face with an ear to ear grin just before the mouth pops! open allowing the laughter to escape.  and this is full-bore gale-force merriment we’re talking about here.

i want this back.
