i heard you asking for pics

(i really did, k!)

and today i finally took some.

at my house

they have to get through

‘quality control’

and i am not

referring to

my own perfectionism here,

although i could be.

pass by the

‘smell check’,

followed by

vigorous

overall

strength testing,

and a rating on the ‘kissable’ scale.

now that this little guy,

has scampered through all the ‘required’ hoops,

i am pleased to introduce him,

or is it her,

to you.

this tiny creature

(and it’s pattern)?

    The Lion and the Mouse

    Once when a Lion was asleep a little Mouse began running up and down upon him; this soon wakened the Lion, who placed his huge paw upon him, and opened his big jaws to swallow him. “Pardon, O King,” cried the little mouse: “forgive me this time, I shall never forget it: who knows but what I may be able to do you a turn some of these days?” The Lion was so tickled at the idea of the Mouse being able to help him, that he lifted up his paw and let him go. Some time after the Lion was caught in a trap, and the hunters who desired to carry him alive to the King, tied him to a tree while they went in search of a wagon to carry him on.   16. I actually had a rat as a pet, and the runner up name for him was “Askim”…
    My friend suggested the name, when I asked why, her reply was “What’s the rat’s name” …dramatic pause… “Askim” (get it, Ask him)
    It was completely silly, and I plan to give my next pet rat that name, because I love it, so I thought I would share it. I think it would work well for a mouse too ?

    should have a sweet and gentle ring.

    Billy the Mouse, or Wee Nibbly Tim,
    or Snuffle or Tommy the Nose…
    Penny Fluffikins or just Miss Penny for short
    or maybe Miss Melanie Mouse?

    Whatever its name, it looks very soft
    and cuddly and friendly and sweet.
    Give it lots of hugs, and kisses and love
    and the occasional treat.

    Victor (after Victor et Berthold, a Quebec cheese)
    Queso
    Maggie (after the italian word formaggio)
    Kaas (cheese in dutch) or Cass
    Macaroni (and cheese? I’m bad at this!)
    Zim (After EZ)

    With what looks like the beginnings of cables I’m thinking Irish/Scottish like “Finn” or “Doyle”? Or totally cheesy like “Cheddar”. 🙂
