yup.
my son’s 2nd grade class is disguising turkeys
in an effort to keep them alive through the thanksgiving dinner melee.
they aren’t putting masks on actual turkeys,
yet.
last week they each painted a small canvas of a camouflaged turkey.
here is my boy’s outside the box upbringing
coming into play.
no wigs, pirate eye patches or hooded capes for his turkey.
no siree.
you can see the vague outline, the beak and the two dark eyes, yes?
but, can you name the disguise?
this turkey is pretending to be a pile of brightly colored fall leaves.
oh how i love the way kids think!
