in the midst of the organized lines of ribbing,
the cables took to winding paths.
they went the scenic route, the long way home.
that’s often the best trip, no?
and speaking of taking a tangent of a road,
what’s crazy is that to get this one pretty shot of the cable spread nicely
(unblocked since i want to frog and reuse the yarn for the final piece),
my 14 yr old had to play an impromptu game of twister.
under the chair
where i was sitting
with her hands
exactly right
so as not to show
in the shot.
phew.
in the end, mission accomplished
as we captured the essence of
both the yarn and the stitches, which was what i wanted
all along.
thanks so much for the help, baby girl!
i owe you one.
Pretty daughter! Pretty yarn! I love the colour of it, and I’m not usually a pink lover. 🙂 Can’t wait to see what you’re making!
