with tweedy flecks.

there is just enough here

to knit this choker

and i’ve thrown in

two glass buttons

and two brass findings

to end the i-cord ties with.

i’m tickled to once again

be able to use the words

‘luxury’ and ‘upcycled’

in the same sentence.

now, from plymouth yarn company,

this cotton/silk/rayon blend is called ‘kudo’.

it is just one skein, but look:

two reddish buttons and 14 beads of yellow

both exactly matching this cheery colorway.

and, if perchance you’re feeling patient,

there are a couple of my

currently unreleased patterns

that this one skein is perfect for.

they’ll be out in early spring.

lastly, enough knit picks comfy bulky

(which is likely to cause

the already full prize box

to bulge just a smidgen),

to knit up  the crown called ‘loved’.

this is perfect for kids of all sizes

and these colors (doe and vinca)

are both regal and equally

appropriate for your little

king or queen or prince,

even a sweet princess

as the case may be.
