vacation led me to maine (the way life should be),
which led me back to our first post-honeymoon apartment,
which took me just down the hill to lisa at saco river yarns,
who introduced me to claudia of the saco river dye house.
it’s rare to find a company that i agree with on so many levels
(organic, environmentally sound, community rebuilders, grass roots)
want to understand exactly why i’ve fallen
so quickly in love with this place and the people there?
check out the video they posted for their kickstarter campaign
(already fully funded)
to get a sense of who they are.
then, if you know me at all, you’ll understand the spring in my step
when i think of the beginnings of my new collaboration with them.
and color me so very excited
to have cast on a new design yesterday
in one of their yet to be released new yarns.
more pics on that coming soon…

Wow! Another beautiful pattern! I love how versatile it is. I have it marked for someday. I’m way behind on wips and things in my someday list. 🙂
i had only thought of a few ways to wear it when my friends chimed in. then the options just kept piling up. so fun.
