i continue to be surprised

in this day and age that holds such a plethora of ways

to connect.

by all the different ways getting to know people

happens.

i ‘met’ margaret

she was posting pics of such vibrant yarn!

i commented and we started a little conversation…

that pretty quickly led to

gorgeous yarn in the mail headed my way.

this stuff is so soft and yet manages to have excellent stitch definition.

i started knitting with it and hardly put it down

until two new hat patterns were born.

this week

i joined instagram.

i am such a visual person

and that format is really invigorating and inspiring to me.

also it is challenging because it pushes me to find

pics to take that feel meaningful in some way in my days.

i posted once a day over there

and for at least this week i wanted to sort of summarize

visually, by reposting pics here, too.

(note: these are mostly alternate angles of the original shots,

so even if you did see them on instagram, this will be somewhat new.
