i got all fascinated earlier today when i walked into the living room

and into these panels

of sunlight.

even though i grew up in this house,

i’m not sure i’ve ever seen it like this before.

i made a few attempts to capture the emotion

that the light vs dark bubbled up inside of me.

somewhere along in the shooting

i caught this great lens flare.surprised

at how geometric it looked,

i blew it up and sure enough, it’s hexagons.of different colors, too.

i love unexpected surprises like that.

they make me think and make more more aware of the things

that i see everyday and look right through.

even though i know it could all be explained to me scientifically,

the science amazes me, too.

it’s really an amazing world

that we live in.
